Luseland Credit Union offers both redeemable and non-redeemable term deposit products to our members. These investments offer competitive interest rates and are eligible to participate in our patronage program.

Term Deposits

Luseland Credit Union offers both redeemable and non-redeemable term deposits in a variety of terms, giving you numerous options for investing in your future.

Short Term Deposits:

  • Short Term Deposits, 30 – 90 day, have a minimum deposit of $1,000.
  • Interest is paid on the expiry date.
  • Interest can be compounded or paid to another account.
  • Competitive rates.
  • Automatic renewal for a like term at the current rates.
  • Eligible to participate in the patronage program.
1 – 5 year Term Deposits:

  • 1 – 5 year Term Deposits have a minimum deposit of $500.
  • Interest is paid annually on the anniversary date.
  • Interest can be compounded or paid to another account.
  • Competitive rates.
  • Automatic renewal for a like term at the current rates.
  • Eligible to participate in the patronage program.
RRSP

Variable RRSPs: Allow you to deposit into the account throughout the year while earning interest. 

  • No minimum deposit required.
  • Interest is calculated daily and is paid monthly at month end.

Term RRSPs:

  • 1 to 5 year non-redeemable terms
  • Minimum deposit of $500
  • Competitive rates
  • Interest paid annually on the anniversary date.
RRIF

Variable RRIFs: Allow you to have access to have immediate access to funds should you need them while earning interest.

  • No minimum deposit required.
  • Interest is calculated daily and is paid monthly at month end. 

Term RRIFs:

  • 1 to 5 year non-redeemable terms.
  • Minimum deposit of $500.
  • Competitive rates.

Interest paid annually on the anniversary date.

TFSA

Variable TFSAs: Allow you to deposit into the account throughout the year while earning interest.

  • No minimum deposit required.
  • Interest is calculated daily and is paid monthly at month end. 

Term TFSAs:

  • 1 to 5 year non-redeemable terms.
  • Minimum deposit of $500.
  • Competitive rates.
  • Interest paid annually on the anniversary date.
RESP
Through our partnership with Concentra Financial we are able to offer 1 to 5 year RESP Products at competitive rates. This partnership makes it possible for you, the member, to continue dealing directly with our staff while saving for your child’s future.
Credential
The Credential Financial Strategies office offers a variety of investment, planning and insurance opportunities that complement the traditional savings programs offered by the credit union.
